Overview

Garrett is an Associate in WH Burkley’s Real Estate Group. He represents developers, property owners, investors, lenders, borrowers, and contractors in a broad range of commercial real estate transactions and development matters, including acquisitions and dispositions, financing, leasing, zoning and land use, development, and construction, as well as the corporate formation and structuring of real estate investment vehicles and ventures. Drawing on experience across a broad range of real estate matters, Garrett advises clients throughout the real estate lifecycle across retail, industrial, office, multifamily, residential, and mixed-use asset classes.

Before entering private practice, Garrett worked for a prominent real estate development company, where he gained firsthand experience with the development of large multifamily projects and the acquisition and disposition of commercial and residential properties. That experience gives him a practical understanding of the business considerations that drive real estate transactions and development projects.
