Overview

Joe is a Senior Counsel in WH Burkley’s Real Estate Group with over 21 years of experience practicing law.  His practice is focused on a broad range of real estate matters that include the acquisition, disposition, development and redevelopment of commercial, mix-use, office and industrial properties.  Joe represents both landlords and tenants for the leasing of retail, office, manufacturing and warehouse space nationwide.  He also drafts and negotiates agreements on behalf of clients selling and acquiring undeveloped and developed property.

  • Drafted and negotiated a purchase agreement for the sale of a commercial property with multiple retail tenants.
  • Drafted and negotiated a purchase agreement for the acquisition of commercial land containing a 180,000 square-foot vacant industrial building.
  • Drafted and negotiated a purchase agreement for the sale of commercial land containing a 197,000 square-foot industrial building that was leased to a tenant.
  • Represents the owner of a commercial property by drafting and negotiating multiple retail lease agreements with local, regional and national tenants.
  • Represents the owner of several single and multi-tenant commercial properties located in various states by drafting and negotiating retail lease agreements with local, regional and national tenants.
  • Represents a client with numerous industrial properties located in multiple states by drafting and negotiating manufacturing and warehouse lease agreements.
