Overview

Alex is a Partner in WH Burkley’s Real Estate Group. He has experience in assisting with a broad range of real estate law matters, such as the leasing, development, construction, financing, acquisition and disposition of retail, mixed-use, office, industrial, warehouse, and general commercial space. Alex has drafted agreements on behalf of sellers, purchasers, developers, lenders, borrowers, landlords and tenants. He enjoys representing clients such as commercial real estate developers in connection with their projects and landlords and tenants in preparing lease agreements for general commercial real estate use.

Experience

LEASING
  • Represents both landlords and tenants in the preparation of leases for retail, mixed-use, office, industrial, warehouse, and general commercial space.
REAL ESTATE & FINANCE
  • Represents developers, owners, and lenders with respect to commercial real estate development.
  • Drafts and reviews corporate and organizational documents in connection with commercial real estate developments.
  • Reviews and analyzes due diligence materials including, but not limited to, title commitments and associated recorded documents and surveys.
  • Represents both purchasers and sellers with respect to the acquisition and disposition of retail, mixed-use, office, industrial, warehouse, and general commercial space.
  • Experienced in negotiating and drafting easement and license agreements.
CONSTRUCTION SERVICES
  • Experienced in construction financing relating to commercial real estate development.
