Overview

Theresa is a Paralegal in WH Burkley’s Tax and Private Wealth Group. She concentrates on trust and probate administration and brings more than 40 years of experience assisting clients through every stage of the estate and trust administration process. Her work includes preparing federal estate tax returns, fiduciary income tax returns, and final individual income tax returns, as well as coordinating asset transfers, valuations, and probate court filings. Theresa also manages estate and trust accounts, prepares annual accountings, and has experience assisting with IRS estate tax audits.

Known for her attention to detail and compassionate approach, Theresa guides clients through the often-complex probate process during difficult times, helping ensure estates and trusts are administered efficiently and accurately.

Theresa earned a B.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from The Ohio State University and later obtained her paralegal certification from David N. Myers University. She joined the firm in 1985.
