WH Burkley was among the firms recognized with the 2026 Turnaround Management Association (TMA) Mid-Size Company Turnaround/Transaction of the Year Award for its role in the Chapter 11 restructuring of Century Mining LLC.
Managing partner Kirk Burkley and partner Matthew McClelland, alongside a multidisciplinary team of additional restructuring professionals, helped develop and execute a comprehensive restructuring strategy that included securing debtor-in-possession financing, rehabilitating and restarting mining operations, and obtaining exit financing to support the company’s long-term viability.
