Overview

Ray is a Partner and the Chair of WH Burkley’s Creditors’ Rights group. The Wilkes-Barre native grew up around the law. Ray’s father has been a practicing attorney since the early 1980s. Ray has spent his entire career focused on his Creditors’ Rights practice and has developed an extensive network of lawyers across the United States to better serve his clients’ needs.

Experience

  • Manages an extensive nationwide portfolio of matters for a Fortune 100 equipment manufacturer/lessee achieving consistent advantageous outcomes.
  • Represented a software provider in pursuit and recovery of a six figure debt while successfully defending against an appellate challenge to the entry of default judgment and seizure of funds sufficient to satisfy the judgment.
  • Represents local businesses in various matters seeking to recover unpaid balances ranging from several thousand dollars to multiple millions.
  • Regularly presents at CLE’s to educate other lawyers about Creditors’ Rights best practices and procedures.
